SATUNO (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the SATUNO Chrome extension, SATUNO Business Shopify app, SATUNO API, and SATUNO Security (collectively, the “Services”). This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

Chrome extension

  • Bitcoin price preferences (currency, denomination)
  • Price alert targets you set
  • No browsing history, no personal data

Shopify app

  • Store name and Shopify shop domain
  • Your Lightning address (if provided)
  • App settings (currency, badge color)
  • We do not collect customer data from your store

API

  • API requests are logged for rate limiting purposes
  • No personal data is stored with requests

SATUNO Security

  • Security preferences and alert settings you configure
  • URLs of sites you visit, checked locally against threat lists — not stored or shared
  • Warned/blocked event counts for your own dashboard analytics
  • No browsing history, passwords, or wallet credentials are collected

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Services
  • To sync your preferences across sessions
  • To process payments for Pro subscriptions
  • To protect you from phishing, scam, and malicious Bitcoin-related sites
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not use your data for advertising

3. Data Storage

  • Chrome extension: preferences stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage
  • Shopify app: settings stored in Shopify Metafields on your store
  • API: no persistent storage of request data
  • SATUNO Security: threat lists and your preferences stored locally in your browser; no personal browsing history leaves your device
  • We use Railway (railway.app) for hosting

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • CoinGecko API — for live Bitcoin price data
  • Stripe — for payment processing (Pro subscriptions)
  • Shopify — for merchant app functionality
  • Railway — for API and app hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Delete your data at any time
  • Uninstall the extension or app to remove all data
  • Contact us to request data deletion
